Ms. Benita Allen has over 30 years experience in human relations and management. She has first hand experience in dealing with adversities and barriers that many inner city individuals face and is celebrated for knowing how to turn lives around. Ms Allen has helped countless individuals develop a greater self-awareness and genuine self-esteem, making it possible for them to break free from limiting concepts of themselves and to achieve success.
Benita is the President of Emerge Coaching and is a Certified Co-Active Life Coach (CPCC) and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Moira began her career as a lawyer practicing in Toronto. In 2001, she obtained her Masters of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution and since then she has worked in community mediation, peace building circles and victim-offender mediations with young offenders.
Moira is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach working with individuals, who seek personal growth.
Pat has been providing coaching and training in organizations for over 10 years where she works with leaders and teams. She is passionate about working with people in transition and is particularly interested in empowering women.
Pat received her coach training through The Coaches Training Institute and is a Certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC). She has also completed advanced studies in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching, is a Certified Master Trainer, is certified to administer the Myers, Briggs Type Indicator and has worked extensively with Strengthfinders.
Life Skills Facilitators
For more than 18 years, Tracy has been a banking professional and mortgage lending expert who worked as an Executive Manager and Supervisor for several national banks. Her vast knowledge extends to analyzing credit ratings, credit cards, auto loans, home loans, budgets, trainer, educator as well as an author and public speaker.
Her passion to help others has driven her to now take her banking knowledge to the public in a way that will provide comprehensive education to everyday people about their own personal finances.
Catherine was raised in Ghana and earned a Masters Degree in Regional Development Planning. She worked for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for many years before migrating with her husband to the United States in 1975. She earned a fellowship to MIT and in 1981, became a
UNICEF consultant to the Ministry of Women Affairs in the newly independent nation of Zimbabwe.
While raising her family, she earned her degree in Computer Programing and worked as a Programmer Analyst for Johnson & Johnson and Bristal Myers Squibb. She has also served on the Core Council of her Church for a number of years.
Catherine's passion for helping women stems in part from having grown up in a culture where women play pivotal parts in both the economic and welfare of the family. "This is the potential I see in all the women I serve".
Linda is a Certified Professional Co-Active Life Coach (CPCC). She received her certification through The Coaches Training Institute, one of the highest ranked coach training programs in the world.
Linda holds a certificate of completion in Organization & Relationship Coaching through the Center for Right Relationship and has recently completed Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator Training and is currently working on obtaining Appreciative Inquiry certification.
Linda is a trained mediator, conflict resolution and diversity leader. Linda holds a Masters Degree from Widener University in Human Resources Management.
Logistics Coordinator (PTW)
Denise has over 32 years of Information Technology experience with computer systems ranging from programming to project management in the corporate arena.
She is a certified project management professional with the PMI organization and holds an A.S. degree in Computer Science and a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Denise has developed and taught basic computer skills to inner city women and has a history of volunteer service through Women’s Build for Habitat for Humanity in Delaware and has served as a rider and volunteer for MS Bike to the Bay for many years.
Sheryl L. Loder
Logistics Coordinator (PTW)
Sheryl has worked in Information Technology since 1989 starting her career as a programmer and now assisting with managing software implementations as an IT consultant.
She earned a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and later returned to earn a BS in Computer Information Systems.
Sheryl has a strong desire to give back to her community and help others through her varied volunteer experiences. She has volunteered with the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, participates in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure and has both ridden in and volunteered for MS Bike to the Bay. In addition, she sponsors her company’s involvement Meals on Wheels and helps with meal deliveries.
Courtney MillsAssistant Life Skills Facilitator
Courtney graduated from Friendship House’s (FH) Women’s Program in 2011 .While a resident at (FH) she successfully completed Pathways to Wholeness’s Job Preparedness, She has over 5 years’ experience as a customer service representative & is currently working full time in a Ophthalmologist office in Wilmington while seeking a General Business degree at Delaware Technical College . Courtney is excited about assisting other women in rebuilding their lives and achieving their goals.
Ariam has been in the customer service industry for almost two decades, including focused experience in human resources, hospitality and corporate training.
She is energized by helping others to discover and develop their talents.
She holds a BS Degree in Spanish.
With nearly 15 years of experience in working with a wide range of resume clients across industries, strengths and capabilities, Sherry works with each of Pathways’ Life Skills Facilitators as a resource to ensure the relevance and power of documents that support each client’s job search and internship efforts.
Sherry is a business administration and English graduate from the University of Kansas with more than 20 years of business communications and project management experience. Her interest in helping others began as a small child as she accompanied her grandmother on many Meals-on-Wheels deliveries in metropolitan Oklahoma City. Since then, she has been part of numerous community, youth development and educational initiatives focused on service and enhancing the quality of life for those around her. More importantly, her objective is to be a role model for her own two daughters, showing them – as her grandmother showed her – that service is a way of life.
